To create true impact to the customer's business, you need to go with not just a labor arbitrage-based savings model but an integrated solutions approach to deliver transformational value.

Perot Systems is a multinational provider of information technology services and business solutions. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Perot Systems reported 2005 revenue of US$2.0 bn. The company has more than 18,000 associates located in North America, Europe, and Asia, including more than 5,000 associated with the company's India-based business.

Perot Systems will operate in four cities across India - Chennai Headquarters of the company's India-based Business Process Solutions organization, Bangalore Headquarters of Perot Systems' worldwide Consulting and Applications Solutions organization, Noidathe company's 27,000-square-foot global service center and Enterprise Command Center (ECC) and Coimbatore initially additional business process outsourcing teams and, going forward, other capabilities. Perot Systems continues to expand and deepen its operations and resources in India across its full suite of BPO, applications and infrastructure capabilities. Perot Systems is in a unique position in the multinational IT industry, having deep expertise and resources in all major areas of services in both India and the US, along with multiple service support and delivery facilities around the world. Nine of the company's top 15 clients (by revenue) receive services delivered from India.

Before the acquisition by Perot Systems Corporation, we were known as Vision Healthsource. Vision was founded by Anurag Jain, my elder brother. As a family-owned company, we had modest start and initially focused on providing BPO services to healthcare providers and payers. The company started with just two people, working out of cafeteria of a transcription company based out of Bangalore. My father used to own a shed in Ambattur and we decided to build out a small facility in that space. Given the nature of the healthcare industry, acceptance of BPO as a business strategy was slow. We utilized the time we had at that point in time to create a scalable services delivery model.
