Women employees who obtain Work-Home Support (SWH) show better Individual and Organizational Outcomes (IOOC) and reduced stress at workplace and at home (Aryee et al., 1998; and Alutu and Ogbe, 2007). Getting optimistic SWH has become imperative for women employees (Anderson and Spatoro, 2008). Getting nominal support influences better work and home roles played by the employees (Bakker et al., 2007). Basically, stress is something that is created in the mind. It is how we look at things. So our greatest defense against stress is the ability to change our minds; to change our thinking (Bielby, 1992). During stressful times, obtaining social support will change the stressful situation (Biernat and Wortman, 1991; and Burnell et al., 2009). IOOC also refers to General Wellbeing (GWB), Work Outcomes (WOC), and Family Outcomes (FOC) (Aryee et al., 1999). Hence, the aim of the current study is to examine the relationship between SWH and IOOC among the women employees of Southern Railways in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, India.
