Abstract
Energy consumption issues are the fastest growing research area in wireless communication network. Cooperative relay communication technique is a solution for minimizing the energy of overall wireless communication network. A number of techniques have been proposed to minimize the energy consumption of the network. This paper gives an overview of the different cooperative relay communication networks.
Description
Nowadays, reduction of energy consumption in a wireless communication network is the fastest growing research area because in wireless network every node is powered by batteries and their replacement or recharging is very difficult. Continuous growth in the number of wireless communication devises and a huge number of high speed data applications have increased the system complexity and requirement for power. So, with finite energy, we can only transmit a finite amount of information. Therefore, reduction in energy consumption for data transmission becomes one of the most important issues for the research.
