Management comes natural to women. Be it home or the work place, she puts her 100% and enjoys whatever she does, and she also encourages and motivates her family members, colleagues, friends, etc. Wherever she goes, she spreads her knowledge, virtues, love and affection. Today, she is no more confined to the four walls of her house, but is playing an important role in entrepreneurship and business. This article discusses some of the great personalities who traveled a long way to meet their dreams and inspired millions of women by setting an example.

History has been a witness to the injustice meted out to women. In the past women were not given any opportunity to come up in society; still they outshone many men by breaking free of traditions and dogmatic conventions.Who can forget the valor of "Maharani Lakshmibai", "Razia Sultana", "Sarojini Naidu" and so on. Whenever society has tried to suppress women, they have united and the world has had to bow before their strength.

But today, the whole scenario has changed dramatically, women are no longer lagging behind in any field. Obvious change can be observed in the field of management and education. Statistics show that women employed in the management sector outnumber those employed in other sectors. The study reveals that in most of the educational institutions, lady professors teach better than their male counterparts but men have been given higher posts.

Olive Ann Beech along with her husband started the Beech Aircraft Company. She worked for twenty dollars-a-week for the firm. Though she was the controller of the company, she could not become the president until her husband's death ten years later.
