Multipath electromagnetic environment is very complex and assumptions have been made in order to obtain optimum models. The ray tracing model and the two-ray model are tools for modeling the radio channel. In this work, the electromagnetic field and power have been measured both in the field and in the electromagnetic compatibility laboratory in order to evaluate the performance of the electric field of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Communication System. The two-ray model is applied to a communication system in which the transmitter is fixed while the receiver is moving.
