A person holding an MBA degree, completed from a supposedly recognized B-School has a greater scope for a better job, retention or making a job switch in a crisis situation than one who does not hold the degree.

It has always taken a lot of research for higher study aspirants to choose from a plethora of courses available to them. Most courses provide them with promises, if not a guarantee, of a good career and a decent living. Higher studies entail a huge risk and the aspirants do much research before venturing into the two or three crucial years of their last lap in designing the best career options for them. A prudent decision making on the part of the aspirants is largely sought to equip them with a "recession resistant" education that has an edge over other courses to demonstrate and boost one's career prospects.

Studies assert that even in times of a credit crunch, American Universities are at record levels for demand of MBA. The right mix of curriculum to enable students with the art of managing in odd times makes this study the most sought after amongst many. The pros of this do not intend to demean any other courses of study per se, but definitely it outweighs many others in the downturn times when multi tasking is not an option, but a feat for survival. All degrees and more so higher education, drive home the point that the sole purpose and aim is to advance, develop and secure careers. This program is one of the most coveted degrees in the world and once availed can leverage career opportunities like no other degree can.

MBA as a degree reinforces the point, that when the unprecedented global meltdown impacted the world, India seemed to be an ideal destination for higher study aspirants, who otherwise would have gone abroad to study. MBA stands out for many as it has an edge over others due to the content of study in which core domains are dealt with equal propensity as in specialization. So, the students are exposed to various managerial effectiveness spheres in whichever area they specialize with strategic thinking perspectives.
