Metaverse is the next generation of Internet-based applications and social forms that use various cutting-edge technologies like virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D holographic avatars, video, and cloud computing. It is also defined as a virtual parallel life, that is, a digital twin of real life, utilizing physical, augmented, and virtual reality to provide a metaphor of real life for its avatars in a shared virtual environment through the Internet.
Metaverse is a virtual world that allows
users to interact with each other or objects
in real-time using their avatars by breaking
down all real-world physical obstacles. It
has been applied to various domains, such
as video games, art, retail, education,
healthcare, manufacturing, and social.
Metaverse is a virtual environment that
requires people to possess soft skills that
enable them to connect with others,
collaborate on tasks, resolve conflicts,
manage emotions, and explore virtual
environments. This study aims to provide
a conceptual framework for understanding
the role of soft skills in the metaverse,
which is composed of three primary
components: personal qualities, the
metaverse, and the connection between
the two. The study contends that soft
skills are essential for success in the
metaverse environment.
