Abstract

Along with the increase in internet use and e-commerce, there is a great spark off of the opinions and expressive comments. These reviews are very beneficial for government, merchandises in trade and users involved. They give a broad insight into multiple facets of the product and details of the user. However, things are not as effortless as they seem. There are lots of challenges faced in dealing with the decoding of a single statement or sentiment. The paper focuses on these challenges and highlights the scope for further research and development in the field of opinion mining or sentiment analysis.


Description

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is the latest area of research which has great scope for possible advancements. It focuses on the adaption and understanding of the natural language of the human. One such subcategory of NLP is sentiment analysis and opinion mining. Opinion mining is the extraction of information and understanding the real message behind a comment based on an aspect of an entity.
