Factors Influencing Continuance Intention of M-Banking Users in India: An Empirical Study Based on Extended TCT
Abstract

This paper explores the continuance intention of mobile banking (m-banking) users, using technology continuance theory (TCT), with trust incorporated as a construct into the model. Data collection was conducted using online Google Forms, which yielded 277 usable responses for analysis. Structural Equation Modeling through Confirmatory Factor Analysis was employed to scrutinize and validate the proposed hypotheses. The results revealed the significance of all the proposed hypotheses. The findings underscore the pivotal role of perceived usefulness, attitude and satisfaction in shaping users’ continuance intention towards m-banking services. The study offers valuable insights on the factors influencing users’ decision to persist with m-banking. Finally, the paper discusses the implications, limitations and directions for future research, providing a comprehensive overview of the study’s outcomes and avenues for further exploration in the dynamic landscape of m-banking.
