This study systematically reviews the existing literature on Indian paradiplomacy and thus sheds light on India’s paradiplomatic endeavors. Additionally, it provides information about the systematic literature review (SLR) conducted to highlight the scope of contemporary paradiplomacy. A qualitative technique for conducting SLR was used. To systematize and make the literature review more accurate, it was divided into three stages: data collection, analysis and interpretation of data. For a more comprehensive understanding of the material, numerous tables and figures were created. International relations entail paradiplomacy to decentralize diplomatic efforts, promote regional interests globally, and establish a more peaceful and cooperative global order beyond state boundaries. Indian paradiplomacy sheds light on how federalism, economic growth, cultural diplomacy, and international influence interact in this diverse and rapidly evolving nation, as well as how subnational groups affect India’s foreign policy and global identity. The assessment accounted for the accuracy level of precision in the search for articles that fit the required criteria, as well as the availability of academic databases, which may have more published studies. From an academic viewpoint, this SLR contributes to a deeper understanding of Indian paradiplomacy
