The paper examines how academic audits have improved academic standards and influenced the performance of universities in Rajasthan. To meet the objectives, multiple regression test was used to analyze a sample of 856 respondents from different universities in Rajasthan, including public, private and deemed. The findings revealed that four variables, i.e., teaching and learning, evaluation and assessment, research, and infrastructure, explain the improvement in various academic activities for the success of academic audit in various universities in Rajasthan. The university as a whole, teaching staff and researchers, benefit the most from academic audit in universities in Rajasthan. Institutions should promote interactive, unbiased, and supporting platforms to address the quality issues facing them.
