The increasing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) has a positive impact on the entire education system. As AI is being included in the curriculum design of educational institutions, it is incumbent upon the educationists and the students to equip themselves with the required skills. The educators must be trained in applying AI tools, as they can potentially revolutionize the teaching-learning process. Educational institutions must create awareness among the students about using AI tools ethically and safely so that they are not misinformed and misled by the available data. Teachers and learners should be made digitally competent by providing them training and infrastructure so that they understand the positive implications of AI. The present study is a descriptive one, where the opinions of survey participants from IT Industry are examined. It discusses the opportunities and challenges of AI, and avers that a collaboration among educational institutions, policymakers, and the government is needed to formulate guidelines on the usage and implementation of AI tools.
The advancement of digital technology and Internet access has resulted in a data deluge. The various study materials and resources available online have enhanced the skills and knowledge of people on various topics and subjects (Imran & Almusharraf, 2024).
