This study seeks to address the various questions regarding corporate governance, ethical responsibility, and regulatory supervision that have been brought up by the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). Understanding AI’s governance framework is important for risk reduction and better implementation, as technology continues to change decision-making across sectors. In addition to exploring the relationship between corporate governance and AI, this study uses VOSviewer and bibliometric analysis to examine 111 Scopus-indexed papers and reviews from 2016 to 2025. While highlighting research gaps that need more investigation, the findings also indicate new issues with AI ethical and legal systems. By providing a summary of academic advancements and suggesting avenues for further study, this paper adds to the expanding conversation on AI governance.
The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into various sectors has revolutionized organizational operations, decision-making processes, and strategic governance. The implications of AI technologies for corporate governance have drawn a lot of interest from academics, industry professionals, and politicians as they become more widespread.
