This study investigates the influence of OCTAPACE model on the work culture and behavior of star-rated hotel employees in Kerala, India. The OCTAPACE model, comprising dimensions such as Openness, Confrontation, Trust, Autonomy, Proactivity, Authenticity, Collaboration, and Experimentation, serves as the theoretical framework for this study. Data were collected from employees in star rated hotels in Kerala, and regression analysis was employed to analyze the relationship between OCTAPACE model factors and employee behavior. The findings reveal significant associations between several OCTAPACE dimensions and employee behavior, highlighting their importance in fostering a positive work culture to enhance organizational effectiveness and guest satisfaction within the hospitality industry.
In recent years, the hospitality industry has witnessed significant transformations, driven by evolving work cultures and the imperative for organizations to adapt to contemporary trends such as psychological safety, agile methodologies, and values-based leadership.
