The Art of Leadership and the Leadership of Art: What Planetary Positions Suggest
Abstract

The objective of this paper is to examine the influence of zodiac positions— the Sun, Moon and Mercury—on leadership and artistic expression The study explores how astrological positions determine the leadership traits and creative expressions of artists and creative performers. The study uses a mixed-methods approach and a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to collect and analyze the data. Secondary data is used, including publicly available birth records of selected artists to identify patterns in the zodiac positions and their creative output. The study findings indicate interesting associations between certain astrological positions and leadership traits such as emotional intelligence, communication skills, creative style.

Introduction

Many scholars and professionals in the occult from a variety of disciplines have studied over time the connection between astrology and leadership and how astrological studies can provide a deeper understanding of the creative impulse and human behavior. The ways in which artists express their creativity, communicate with others through their creative work and develop emotionally are also significantly influenced by the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in vedic astrology. The sun represents the identity and confidence of an artist and defines their creative expression based on its position in the zodiac. Fire sign positions are associated with boldness and innovation in creative expression; water signs bring an emotional dimension to creative works; earth signs emphasize practicality, and air signs emphasize the intellectual aspects of the creative process (Astroyogi, 2025; Astrology, 2024; Kelly, 2025).
