The study examines how leadership styles, can affect an employee’s quality of work. To this end, a primary quantitative approach was employed along with regression and demographic analysis. Results from the analysis help in evaluating the effectiveness of different leadership styles and their relationship with work performance. It is evident that workers are more satisfied with their jobs when their needs are met and work-life balance is maintained. However, the findings of the correlation analysis show a negative relationship between flexible working and leadership style, and job security. Flexible working and job security are positively connected, suggesting that greater flexibility in the workplace promotes job security. However, because leadership style is adversely correlated with flexible working, flexible working hours are discouraged. The study concludes that leadership style, co-worker relationship, and flexible working significantly affect work performance.
Organizations succeed when their leaders are effective. Organizations lose direction, stagnate, and develop too slowly when there is no leadership (Northouse, 2021). One of the key elements that is considered to be crucial for the success and productivity of the company is leadership.
