Organizational Communication Strategies for Implementing Diversity and Inclusion Practices Using AI: A Literature Review
Abstract

The study examines how organizations can leverage effective communication strategies and AI to boost D&I practices in the workplace. Communication strategies, such as employee resource groups, training workshops, and transparent reporting on diversity metrics, are crucial for fostering an inclusive culture. Therefore, a balance between technology and human touch is required. The study examines common themes in how communication and technology can be used to support inclusive practices. A few recommendations are made in this regard for organizations, which include developing ethical AI frameworks, ensuring diverse representation in AI development, and maintaining transparency. Organizations should prioritize D&I efforts through multifaceted approaches involving leadership commitment, inclusive policies, and ethical leveraging of technology. The study emphasizes that combining effective communication strategies with responsible AI implementation is key to creating more diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environments. By doing so, they can harness the benefits of diversity to drive innovation, enhance decision making, and improve organizational performance.
